Trump Reveals Four Groups Interested in Purchasing TikTok

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that his administration is in discussions with four different groups regarding the potential sale of TikTok, with all options on the table.
TikTok's future has been uncertain since a law took effect on January 19, mandating its Chinese owner, ByteDance, to either sell the app due to national security concerns or face a ban. After taking office on January 20, Trump signed an executive order delaying the law's enforcement by 75 days.
When asked about a potential deal for TikTok, Trump stated aboard Air Force One, "It could happen." He added, "We're dealing with four different groups, and a lot of people want it... all four are good."
Neither TikTok nor ByteDance responded to Reuters' request for comment outside regular business hours.
The uncertainty surrounding TikTok has attracted several potential buyers, including former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt, with analysts valuing the fast-growing platform at up to $50 billion.
