Tesla Tops Q4 Sales in China with 21,900 EVs in Early December

Tesla sold 21,900 electric vehicles in China during the first week of December, marking the highest weekly sales in Q4 2024, as reported by Tesla China on Wednesday.

This disclosure followed Tesla's strongest month in China this year, with November sales surpassing 73,000 units. The Model Y remains the best-selling passenger vehicle in China, with 556,000 units sold over the past year.

To boost sales during the year-end, Tesla has introduced a limited-time 10,000 yuan ($1,375.89) discount on outstanding loans for the Model Y, as it faces increased competition from BYD's cost-cutting strategies.
