Bain Capital Plans IPO for Seven & i's Supermarket Business in 3 Years

Bain Capital plans to take Seven & i Holdings' supermarket business public within the next three years, focusing on enhancing synergies within the group, according to an executive from the U.S. private equity firm.

Bain also intends to expand the business through acquisitions of competing retail chains and technology companies to modernize operations, stated Bain partner Naofumi Nishi in an interview with Reuters.
