Morgan Stanley has inaugurated its new Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore’s upscale downtown business district, the company announced this week.
Singapore continues to attract global investors and financial institutions due to its low tax environment, political stability, and strategic position as a gateway to Southeast Asian markets.
“We are thrilled to unveil our new Southeast Asia headquarters, an investment that underscores our commitment to Singapore and the broader region, where we see strong long-term growth potential,” said Morgan Stanley CEO Ted Pick in a statement dated November 20.
The bank’s new offices span five floors, covering 9,941 square meters (approximately 107,000 square feet).
Morgan Stanley, which has maintained a significant presence in Singapore since 1990, uses the city-state as its Southeast Asia headquarters. The firm also operates offices in Jakarta, Bangkok, and Manila.
